This paper is set and answered in Urdu. The headings below are given in the Commission's own Urdu with an English gloss alongside.
Candidates opt for either the General Paper in Urdu or the General Paper in Sindhi, not both. Question papers in Urdu are to be answered in Urdu.
This paper asks the candidate about the fundamental nature and sources of the language; a basic knowledge of accidence and syntax (صرف و نحو) is required. Candidates must also be able to translate from Urdu into English and from English into Urdu. The following headings form the paper.
